How can I make a day 28 hours long?

I have 2 new classes to teach this week, one flower gardening class (one day only) and one intermediate floral design class (12 weeks).  I have so much to do to be ready that it seems there aren’t enough hours in a day.  I got behind on everything when I was sick but I’m feeling better and catching up but I’m tired.  If I had my way I would be able to spend all my time quilting interspersed with gardening.  I saw this yesterday and thought it was pretty great.

So I guess I’m doing it right.

I did make some more progress on  hand quilting the vintage Japanese Fan Quilt.  I have 50 blocks done. (50 to go)

I hung it up today to take pictures and the quilting shows up great.  here is a closer look (click pictures to enlarge)

I decided to quilt the plain muslin blocks on the edge just like the pieced blocks.

It is also looking great from the back

Now back to being an “Adult”   I need to work on notes for class.

Happy Quilting
