I have spent a bit more time hand quilting the vintage strip quilt. It is going pretty fast. Simple straight line quilting is really very easy.
It is amazing how much the quilting shows on the back
As I work on this one I keep thinking that it looks a lot like a braid rug

they did do a lot of work on it…so many little strips of fabric! and I love all the colors!!
You’re right, it does look like a braided rug. I can see it in a cozy little room with the rug at the side of the bed and cross-stitched pictures on the wall. Beautiful work!
