I have been working on the Dick and Jane quilt for a few days now (I started piecing it on 2/10/13) and I have made it through almost 2/3 of the hand quilting.
I guess that is the advantage of small quilts! They go so fast.
Here are some pictures. (click to enlarge)
Since it is going so fast I think I will not be able to stop now until I am done…It should not take long.
It is a sunny morning…a welcome change! I have a hyacinth plant in bloom that is adding a spring-like aroma to the house.
The sun coming through the window called to Teddy and he decided it would be best to take a nap in the little patch of sun…but when I got the camera out he jumped up to see what he was missing. He always had a bad case of “bed face” when he first wakes up. And after he saw what was going on he immediately jumped up to the computer….as if to say “lets get those pictures downloaded now so people can see me”
Happy Quilting

cute quilt! I should have thought earlier to plant some bulbs for the house – they always smell so nice when they open
I never remember to plant them until it is too late…..but there is a store nearby that sells them…and they have them just starting to sprout so I can watch them grow and open
Nice quilt!
Poor Teddy just wants his own blog!
I think he does want his own blog….he always wants to sit on my lap while I try to work on mine
Very cute quilt! You are making it look wonderful as usual. Great to have one go so quickly I’m sure.:)
it is….makes me feel productive
