Hello world!

This quilt is one of my favorite patterns.  Broken Star.  I suspect that the top was made from one of the “Aunt Martha” quilt kits.  They had all of the diamond pieces pre-cut and you added the squares.

I love the bright colors.  I quilted it with cranberry thread in a Native American theme using eagle feathers rather than the traditional quilting feathers

the backing is a cranberry print

I can’t tell you how long it took to quilt, let’s just say long.

Quiltman, fighting for quilts, justice and the American way! Where’s the photo of you in your Quiltman outfit? I love the Tumbling Blocks header. Now, where do I get one of those nifty quilt block icons?

The fun blocks icons just magically appear (pretty cool)

I will save the Quiltman picture for later 🙂

Next post will be about the Tumbling Blocks Quilt
