14 done…28 to go

I have been unable to stop working on the houses quilt, it has been hot but with the AC running I can still sit with a quilt in my lap and not melt.  I finished 14 of the 42 blocks.

The vintage top was not perfect (see the pale green block at the bottom of the quilt and the less than perfect matching points all over) but I don’t mind it at all.  The feeling of this quilt is casual, fun, almost spontaneous…but not rigid or formal so the imperfections seem right.

here are a few more pictures.

and here is the back.

You are so determined…. Amazing what you can do with an imperfect quilt…..I think it is getting” gorgeous-er and gorgeous-er” !! lol !

I have been so intrigued by the pastel colors mixed in with the stronger, darker solids. This really is a fabulous quilt and your quilting is making it into a work of art!

I usually work on a few different projects at the same time…but since I started this one I don’t seem to want to work on anything else. So this one might go pretty fast

It’s looking great, also from the back!
I like a lot seeing the back of quilts, too!
