Ice Tree

I decorated a tree with lots of icicles.  There are also some beads, and white birds and white lights.  I was going to add red ornaments but I used them at the base of the tree instead.   It might be hard to tell from the picture since the tree is on a table, but the tree is 6 1/2 feet tall (old houses have high ceilings)   I also made a snowman snowflake.  The quilt looks nice on the chair but I wont leave it there….Teddy would destroy it.

Looks awesome! My goodness, you are a great decorator. Love the window treatments too.

  2. Oh my goodness. SO BEAUTIFUL! I miss living in an old home… I know they can be drafty or not the modern conveniences with kitchens or whatever… but I LOVE an older home. Your quilt turned out so pretty. Such a great idea. I am LOVING those snowflakes! You are so talented.

      Thanks Sandra!
The house was built in 1894, The big windows do make the house drafty but I would hate to change them out for new ones…they just dont look the same

I love having birds perched on the branches on my tree, too! They add so much to the mood of the tree. And I’m with you on the old drafty windows, too! Most of our windows have original wavy glass in them. I love that! Circa 1865! Our oil bills are high, but I wouldn’t change a thing!
