Snowflake Giveaway

I have never done a giveaway before but there is always a first.  I have been making a lot of snowflakes and posting them here… that is the giveaway… a lot of snowflakes

Here are a few of them

To enter the giveaway  all you have to do is add a comment below, and I will select the winner based on a random number selection. ( I won’t respond to comments on this post  or it will throw off numbering for the drawing)  I will mail the winner all these snowflakes, and a few more.  I will draw the winner on Dec 12 and get them in the mail right away so you will have them in time for Christmas.

Good Luck

Tim, I’m a long-time lurker. Your snowflakes (and your quilts) are incredible. I think older kids would love this project if they had a template, since the results are so wonderful. Your talent is inspiring. I may have to try this.

I’m a rather slow hand quilter. Right now I’m working on a king size DWR, wool batt, with 81 rings. The quilting was started in August with a hopeful (but unrealistic for me) deadline of December 1st. I am working on the outer set of rings with 22 more to go.

I enjoy your blog posts and pictures.

Wow sewing machine snowflakes! What wonderful design will your great imagination dream up next? I’d love to have any or all of the snowflakes.

  118. Dawn says:

Thank you so much for sharing the St. Nicholas information. Christmas has become so commercialized that I dread the season anymore with the stores beginning their season before Halloween these days. Thank you for reminding us what the real meaning of the season is. Thank you for sharing yourself and spreading some joy through your blog. Your snowflakes remind me of when my GM would paint snowflakes so intricate on our windows from the inside of the window with glass wax. it was a pink liquid and then it would dry white and look like snow. We hated it when she wiped all the scenes off the windows and used the glass wax for what it was meant to be.

  119. Martha says:

These would be so lovely to have!

  120. jody brock says:

    • Kristen says:

The Teddy Flake is terrific — I bet he’s just mesmerized by it. Is he going to allow you to give all those snowflakes away, isn’t he going to guard the door, barking?

Oh my,how I would love to have those snowflakes! They are works of ART.

I always thought that this kind of paper folding was something everyone learned in childhood – but I had an employee who absolutely could not do it … her snowflakes always ended up as sprinkles instead. 🙂 She and I used to laugh about it together.

    🙂 Linda

I just keep coming back to look at them , what a treasure it would be to own these, and trust me they would be preserved year to year to hang in our home. I Just discovered your blog a few days ago after visiting the Wonkyworld blog that I follow.
I am always glad to find handquilters’ blogs. The wholecloth you are working on is beautiful & to me appears to be in the style of the North Country/Northumberland quilts from Britain of which I am a fan.
Your snow flakes bring back the days in school at this time of the year!

  149. Carla says:

I look forward to your snowflakes this time of year. The pineapple one is really over the top! Love seeing your appliqued pineapple quilt again! I just pulled out my red and green traditional that has that block I borrowed from you.
