Calendar Quilt Top

I posted about this  vintage Calendar Quilt top before, but I think that the seasonal nature of it is perfect for December.  This is another one that I need to get quilted! It was made with 2 sets of patterns so there are 2 years worth of blocks, and she must have been from Texas because there is a Texas state bird added to fill in an empty space.

Lots of fun embroidery designs on that quilt. The maker had a really nice stitch too. It would be hard for me to pick a favorite from your snowflakes…they are all so nice!
