Trapunto pictures

I was working on the Trapunto  today and the sun was coming through the window and made the stuffing really stand out. These pictures are of the back of the quilt.  It almost makes me think the back should be the front.

Happy Quilting

You know….the whole time I’ve watched the progress on your whole cloth quilt, I’ve thought that the back is just as beautiful as the front. I love the colors in the back and think it’s kind of a modern twist on the traditional white for a whole cloth quilt. Whichever side you turn to the front….both sides are gorgeous!!! 🙂

This is just beautiful ! I was wondering if the roving will make your quilt any heavier? I know it is wool but it looks like you are using alot.

Tim, I’ve watched your progress on this quilt for a while. I just love it! It just hit me the backing is batik, which is a more densely woven fabric. How do you open a hole large enough to pull that roving through?

    I like the back also!
