I love that Brother Cadfael rose, a real old-fashioned blowsy beauty. Bet it smells good, too. Your snowflake quilt almost, almost tempts me to start something similar on a small scale…

it is a great rose…one of the David Austin roses. lovely large fragrant blooms.

I am already thinking I need to do another snowflake but full sized…..I’m already addicted 🙂

The garden is absolutely beautiful !!! Japanese beetle is one bug , I don’t have to fight with in Ga. They can be hard on a rose bush, seems they find them rather tasty!
Snowflake is looking good! Nice stitching. 🙂

you are lucky you dont have them in GA…..they were much worse here 10 years ago…literally defoliating trees and roses and everything in their path….the last few years they are much less destructive because the population of them has decreased so much and I don’t really see them until this time of year…but the do target my roses!
