Star Quilts Finished

I finished the second star quilt today.

I started hand quilting it Saturday Night and spent all day Sunday finishing the hand quilting ( really simple quilting with large stitches and heavy thread )  and did the binding today.

Here are a bunch of pictures (click to enlarge)

I wrote up a pattern which is available here:  https://www.etsy.com/listing/255419887/strip-star-quilt-pattern?ref=shop_home_active_1

I am so glad to be ahead of the curve this year!   I always plan to make a Christmas quilt each year and usually don’t finish until mid December!   Now I need to decide where to hang these (don’t worry I will wait until after Thanksgiving 😉 )

Teddy is feeling much better.    His allergies are pretty much seasonal, Spring and Fall, and it seems that the fall itching is about over and he will be fine until spring.

He sure does enjoy looking out the window.

Happy Quilting

Very nicely done ! And WOW already quilted and by hand no less. My daughter and son in law have been married 17 years and are still waiting for me to finish their wedding quilt!
And, glad to hear your fur baby is better!

  3. Glad to hear Teddy is feeling better–allergies are no fun. For dogs or people! I’m looking forward to less shedding at our house, as the cold weather sets in!

Those stitches do not look large to me! This is a real beauty, how kind of you to share the pattern, thank you.
    Happy Sewing
