Quilts for sale

I make a lot of quilts.   I have lost count of how many I have made since I started in 2006 but I have plans for many many more.  I have decided that it is time to let go of some to make room (and money) for more. I get sort of attached to them after putting all the hours of work into them but  I have listed several for sale on my Etsy site.      I have priced them far below what I really should.    If I were to add up the cost of materials and add the hours of work to hand quilt them the price would be much higher.

Here are the quilt currently listed for sale

Have you ever noticed that when you go to buy something, people want a ton of money for it?!? Then, when you go to sell it, they don’t want to give you anything for it! Lol. What I’m leading up to is I’ve been selling stuff lately (after the giving away and throwing away and giving away part for years now) that my husband acquired when times were good. Antiques. Well, the market is awful! However, it feels so good to be done with being the caretaker of it all. The more I let go, the more I want to let go. Also, I can get different stuff now. 😉 having said that, these are going to fly off the shelves! I know it’s hard parting I truly understand, but you know these are going to good homes. You can be certain of that.

If I could, I’d buy the pickle dish one! Or American beauty, not sure what you are calling it. That is my favorite, if I had to choose.

Can I see the back of the traditional basket pattern one, the 30s looking one? Or a link to where you made it! Thanks.

It must be like parting with a good old friend! But it’s good to know they’ll be in caring hands. 🙂

Those quilts are lovely and your idea of making room for more is the right way to look at parting with them. Teddy will insist you keep enough for him of course.
