Hand quilting roses

It is hard to see in the pictures but I am making progress on the hand quilting.  It is a big quilt so it goes slowly

Teddy is great support

he is also a bit dirty from “working” in the garden.

I did a bit of free motion quilting on the new Singer red-eye

And I finished the mulching in the garden

The mulch on the other side of the fence is the neighbors….I  prefer my darker mulch but I am so glad they are taking good care of their garden as well

Next to get a bed ready for some vegetables

Happy Quilting

Dexter sends a rooooo! to Teddy. I’m loving watching the quilts and the garden both.

All of your projects are gorgeous! Please do not ever feel the need to justify or apologize for the length of time something takes, We are all just grateful to come along for the ride. Thank you.

Love your yard, Tim. In Colorado we are hosting our final ice and snow storm. By May, hoping for warm. 😏

I am really enjoying watching your progress on the quilts and old sewing machines. Your little Teddy is adorable! and your gardens are beautiful as well!

  5. In CO we are wet & chilly–at least it won’t be icy for days, weeks, or longer like it is in Nov. through Feb. My husband mowed the grass in the front yard today because it is growing so fast & he knew it will be too wet to mow for awhile now. Your Rose Quilt is wonderful–I’m looking forward to seeing the completed project! Rosie wants to know if Teddy wants to play!

The rose quilt is coming along nicely! Teddy looks very proud of your work & progress. Spring has sprung in Michigan – the garden is looking wonderful.
